Palmer is Fitz but with a stronger arm. Not much of an upgrade there.

He's much better than Fitz or TJax.

And I would definitely rather have Palmer than the other veteran names being tossed around - Alex Smith, Matt Cassel, David Garrard, etc.

However, I feel that it's WAAAAAAYYYY past the time for the Bills to draft a top QB prospect. I'm pushing for Geno Smith or Matt Barkley all the way.

Carson Daly is probably better.

LMAO

Palmer's cap numbers are atrociously high, there is no way on EARTH I want to have that on our cap. And while I was onboard with trading for Tebow as our #3 longshot QB last year, I don't see Marrone being interested.

Just a laughable article.

Trade for Carson Palmer, early days in Cincy pre injury? I'm all about that.
Trade for Carson Palmer now? HELL NO

Carson is not affected by injury at this point. Being in bad offenses since that time has been his problem. He would be good here in this type of offense but if his cap number is high I would pass although the compensation would probably be low.

Did anyone else notice that the article said he returned 2 kicks for TD's? Has he ever returned kicks for us?

At this point he's no better than Fitz. Plus, we'd have to eat his cap hit AND the dead cap from cutting Fitz. That's a lot of money tied up in a very average QB.

No, that's obviously a typo. Jairus Byrd has returned two picks for touchdowns.

Hell no on Carson Palmer. If his cap number was cheap and the draft pick was cheap I would give it a shot until we had a young QB ready. No way in hell with this scenario. We still wouldn't be a playoff team with him in our lineup.

No thank you. I'm more than ready to turn the keys over to a young guy.

A garbage article. The author rehashes some stuff that's already been out there regarding Jairus Byrd and attaches a groundless, rumor mongering and unrelated title to draw attention. If there is a rumor, at least note what circles it's running in. He must have heard it somewhere, unless he just made it up. Perish the thought that someone might do that. In any case, pass on both Carson Palmer and Tim Tebow. Way to set the franchise back a few years with one move.

I would not trade for Palmer but I would consider signing him as a FA for a reasonable price. No matter what, Fitz is done here because most of the fans and media want him gone

If Palmer is willing to play on the cheap, he will probably do that on the Raiders.

Palmer is so far on the back nine of his career he can see the clubhouse. I wouldn't take him if he was released.
