Carolina score first goal 1:31 into the first :ill:
This is ridiculous, all the other teams get pass across for tap ins on 5 on 3 and we are taking one time slap shots the whole time.
Miller was horrible this game. 2 softies just as soon as the team got withing 1 goals.
Semin is +3 today, he is not freaking +18, amazing stat so far for him.

The Sabres get within one and then Myers once again does not sacrifice his body and try to block the shot. Also, Gerbe is just too small to play in NHL. He was literally shoved down and the puck was taken away from him which led to goal.

I agree, Gerbe is not an NHL player.

i thought Porter, Flynn and McNabb were one of the better lines tonight, if not the best one...they were at leasting hustling and actually created pressure in the Carolina end.

They allowed that crap 3rd goal, maybe it was a bad change, but they were out hustled on that one.

Watching Cody skate up behind the Cane's player, steal the puck, then deke through 3 of them and go to the net was the only thing positive out of that whole game.
Vanek shoulda hammered that back hand shot, instead he feathered it and game peters enough time to get over.

I said that when we first got him. And got trashed for saying it because Martin St. Louis is small but is still good. That's why you can't use the exception to prove the rule.

This is the worst thing about Buffalo sports.
Just losing isn't bad enough.
We have to be completely outplayed by the teams we despise the most. 0-3 against the Canes this year and we were only competitive in one of the games.

I'm actually looking forward to it. No one expects him to make things better, and he can't possibly make things worse, so there's no pressure. Maybe he'll come through. If not, it'll at least provide a reason to watch his first few games back.

as much as I hated Ott in Dallas... he's prolly the hardest working and best player we have right now.. lol.
no kidding...
on PK, when OTT is on the ice, the PK is fantastic, no chasing or floating out of position, when he goes off, the other team scores because the forwards (POMS MAINLY) start chasing, and everyone gets out of position.
on PP, Pretty much the same.
Ott pretty much compliments grigs and leino's style of play.

We need to start winning all our games, maybe he'll help.
I thought losing Leino was big, decent playmaker for a team without many. Without Roy, he would have be a bigger guy in the assist department.

i think he litterally skated around the entire carolina team to score that goal... beat all 5 skaters and the goalie

and may very well end up being one of the top goals in the league at the end of the year
