For 6th rd pick
I posted this in the NFL forum.
I think Buddy is looking for a youth movement going forward. Anquan is starting to decline. Although, I would have liked to have seen him here for a year or two.

Beat me to it LOL. Nice deal for the Niners.

The niners look to be pretty stacked. They're also probably going to need to trade away some more of those draft picks, they'll never be able to keep all the guys they draft any way so why waste them?

Ravens needed to shift some cap room, so traded Boldin somewhere he would be prepared to go. The 'brotherly love' thing no doubt helped grease the wheels somewhat.

Any details on a re-worked contract?

Boldin is making $6 million this year. I don't think they will re-work it. He didn't want to take a pay-cut in the first place.

Considering the taxes in California Boldin took a big pay cut going to San Francisco.

John Harbaugh must have felt sorry for his megalomaniac brother so he threw him a bone apparently.

Jim also offered to host Thanksgiving this year as part of the deal.
Didn't the Bills trade a 6th round pick for Tavaris Jackson? Wonder why SF is in the Super Bowl and Bills are perennial losers.

Now that's a team worth rooting for!

Again, people are going "But it was for a 6th round pick, we could have done that!" Bolden didn't want to re-work his $6 million dollar contract, so he was traded to a team that could carry the contract and wanted him.
It's either Bolden and nobody else, or shore up our depth with several role players.

I agree. The Bills are once again at the start of a new rebuilding mode. No one expects Marrone to win next season.
