All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
While I am fine with letting Levitre walk because he is going to get way too much money for a guard what is the story with Rinehart? Have we made any effort to sign him?
I would prefer Rinehart over Levitre strickly based on the cost from one to the other...But maybe Buffalo is planning on signing Brandon Moore, or even Vazquez...
Urbik signed a 4yr extension for 15mil on Dec 18th btw...
I wonder if Rinehart has to pass a physical, and that's why there's nothing, news wise, about him.
I know he was put on IR, but can't remember what it was for, so don't know if he should be fit now, or not.
I do know he's had favorable mentions in lists of possible free agents, as a decent player who could be had for value.
Yet there's been nothing about him, anywhere. Not even being linked with any teams, as far as I have seen.
Seems rather odd tbh.
What about Rinehart though? Any word on talks with him?
Any agent worth a damn wouldn't bother until we know Levitre's fate. If Levitre walks. Rinehart will have the team by the balls and will get far more than he would if he signs now.
And if the Bills manage to keep Levitre, that's one less G on the FA market- supply and demand. Rinehart's value goes up in that situation too.
He has nothing to gain by signing before Levitre does.

I agree, but I don't know how firm his grip would be on the balls. He is not the only Guard the Bills could sign & then there is the draft as well.

What you say is partially true, but any negotiating leverage Rinehart might hope to have following a Levitre defection is mitigated by the presence of some other guards out there in free agency. Rinehart is better off if Levittre leaves, but he's still in no position to break the bank.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.
