Right at the 3 mill per cap figure for this year... 2 mill base plus 1 mill SB... NICE!

"But we're paying too much for a bust! Rabble! Rabble rabble!"

Good deal, for both sides.

That's kind of nice, with at least 2.6mil being future bonuses, and most of the rest is salary.

If he sucks this season, and they cut him, the dead money would only = $3.75 mil.

For a part time player who..in his best year, had an opposing QB rating of 93.2...

yeah, pretty much.

Oh, c'mon gil...look at the numbers. That's a pretty damn reasonable contract.

Wait...those numbers dont add up to 20. Not even close.

a 4 year 13 million dollar contract is alot different than a 4 year 20 million dollar one as was reported.

Which is why you should always wait until the actual details come out, not the reported details.

Tom Brady loves it.

That was part of his restructuring...he had to send the Bills 2 million so they could keep McLovin on the field.

Welker and Gronk are probably going to chip in some too.

Get with the program, Cookie. Everybody knows contract cost trumps on-field performance. It's...its...it's value! :bravo:

What's the cap hit this year? I'd like to update the salary cap thread.

It's not including the 4 million signing bonus. It's a 4 year 17 million dollar contract if he plays it out.

Great contract if only a comparison to him in William Gay didn't sign for 3 years - 4.5 million.

Yeah if he sucks again and we cut him after one season his dead cap is only 3.75 million which is about 3% of the total salary cap. If that's the case then add on the 3 million for this season and it ends up costing us almost 7 million dollars for a crappy CB to play one year. Yeah that's a great deal.

I can't even imagine how badly he'd have to suck for us to dump him after year 1, it would actually cost us more to part with him then keep him. So realistically, he's here for at least 2 years.
