It's a lock we are drafting a QB with the 8th pick. Do you guys agree or disagree? You got to think Geno if he is available or Tyler Wilson. Wilson would remind me of the Tannenhill pick last year but I highly doubt Tavaris Jackson is our starter.

Re: Now that Fitz has been cut..
Bills have to draft someone as they can't possibly go into next season with just Tavaris Jackson. I can live with Geno in round one but no other QB warrants a first round pick. Sucks that the Bills are in this position.

I certainly hope not, but the tea leaves are certainly pointing in that direction. My only hope, although I admit it's unlikely, is that another team behind us that is desperate for a QB falls for the 'it's so obvious Buffalo wants a QB' that they are willing to get ass-raped in a trade up with us and give up some extra picks.YardRat Wall of Fame

Re: Now that Fitz has been cut..
It's a lock that they're going QB, it's also a lock that they're going to be bad the next two years, because they have nothing to really build around, maybe CJ. They don't have a D, not much of an offense.
If they're going to get desperate and reach for a QB they'll solve none of their problems, see the Cleveland Browns last year. This teams won't be good next year, take the BPA at 8, draft a development QB in the third and tank the season. This team needs a 2-14 season, this may be the year to do it too because the top of next years class is absolutely loaded.
Just acquire talent is my preference, regardless of position, mail this season in and go big next year. No point in setting this franchise back further, if that's even possible, with a QB that needs a lot of work.
I think it's a lock that Tavaris is starting Week 1 because a lot of these QBs need work.
