Day One of FA and we've heard no interest in this guy from any team? I thought he would be one of our first priorities.

Hope we're working in the background with him right now. Be nice to pair him up with Byrd.

Bc hes not all that good. Solid but not elite other than maybe run support.

The Indy Star's Phillip B. Wilson tweeted Tuesday night that he "wouldn't be surprised" if the Colts signed free agent LaRon Landry.

Landry's first free-agent visit was to Indianapolis. The Colts are still flush with cap space and need a strong safety. Landry could be the final puzzle piece to a revamped secondary that added Greg Toler and re-upped Darius Butler. If Landy leaves without a deal, he'll reportedly visit the Cardinals, Lions and 49ers

Doesn't sound like we will be getting Landry.

our staff is VERY familiar with him... its likely if they want to offer him a deal, they wont ask him to visit first

on the pro side he's a viscious hitter.

on the con, he'll cost a lot and with byrd, it means we'll have a ton of money on guys who aren't even being supplemented with the front LB core to really make these guys awesome.

So when the underperform those contracts and teams are still running 4 -6 yards a carry per game on us, we'll be sick of these guys. Get LBs in here pronto.

There are hundreds of free agents, and it's hard to report on them all.

We just signed Lawson and that was the first I had heard about anyone having interest in him.

He's pricing himself too high

The Bills are not going to wrap that much money up in the safety position, nor should they. Searcy is a big hitter, younger, cheaper, and has unrealized potential.

He's got some injury risk. I'd rather roll with Searcy/Williams and go after Pollard.
