All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Why is it that I look at the bills message board and we are talking about who the Pats signed and how Welker went to the Broncos and they are two of the most prominent threads. Kind of pathetic. I think we need to move forward to the draft.

I think what this guy is saying is that if you went to the Patriot's message boards you wouldn't see multiple Bills threads. It is kind of pathetic.
Well, multiple threads about the Bills doing NOTHING would be pretty boring. When the Bills signed Mario last year every board of every team was talking about the Bills.

I'm not even sure Nix would be smart enough to select a player like Luck, if one did fall to us. His drafting record shows that much already.

Its no different than the Favre saga. Welker just dissed a division rival to play for his former teams biggest rival. It's news. It's the biggest news in the FA period right now.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
I would be elated with Jones at 8 and a QB between 20-32.
