We better go get Pollard. This is unforgivable.

I'm more angry we lost out on James Ihedigbo, who could have served us well as a depth guy who knows the system and contribute on ST as not sure we need to sign a starting SS. Looking at the landscape Eric Smith to be is a better option than Pollard as he's a little younger and less of a powder keg.

Didn't really want him to be honest.

Just called Buddy at home. His dog patched me through. Said that his priority now is keeping Mario Williams. Doesn't want him to leave in 4 years. Stated the Bills are committing all of their resource (note that resource is singular) into getting an extension ironed out. He will keep us posted via broadcast on channel 13 of his cb radio. His handle is Buddwacker69

I don't mind that. Who knows what he's worth better than Pettine?

Im fine with it.
To be honest Searcy has that job and has done a pretty good job.
Still young and I think he will breakout this year...

Maybe we are waiting to go after Shamarko Thomas...he was a wrecking ball at Safety for SU last year...

I preferred Delmas who I think also signed yesterday.

Top SS targets are;
Bernard Pollard
Adrian Wilson
Micheal Huff
Dawan Landry

Buddy wasn't snoozing. He was on the phone with a shock jock DJ from Sioux Falls, SD because he thought it was Landry's agent. He actually thought he had signed Landry until he turned on ESPN.

We have bigger needs than safety. Unforgivable is a little dramatic!

Big part of Pettine's defense is getting the in the box style SS. Its a larger need than most realize.

Still think "unforgivable" is being dramatic.

That I can agree with.

Let me get this straight.

TJ is currently our #2 WR(and nothing behind him)
Aaron Williams is our #2 CB
Bradham is our best LBer
Guard is a huge ?
we have no QB at all

But not signing a overrated SS for 6 million a year is unforgivable???

We really needed a safety that's hurt all the time and struggles in pass coverage! That'll shore the defense up!

lmao- DB agrees but he argues anyway. I wouldn't have expected anything less.

Not arguing, pointing out that there is a reason to be concerned about the SS market. I agree the overreaction over Landry is ridiculous.

I would expect you of all people to understand that.

I totally agree with you. It's the fact that we're not actively trying to fill these holes, including bringing in a SS, that's unforgivable.

Are we criticizing my use of hyperbole? I thought as a society we're comfortable with that.
