That was one of the most depressing articles I've ever read :/
"The government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it."
    Ronald Reagan
    40th president of US (1911 - 2004)

I don't know which is worse:

Starting Tavaris Jackson in 2013 or reaching for someone at 8 and being stuck with them as the "franchise" QB for the next 4-5 years.

Working him out doesn't mean they're taking him at 8

Ok? I'd be worried an think it's worth news if we DIDN'T bring in one of the top 6-7 QB prospects for a private workout.

With the rookie salary cap there's no reason that you have to be stuck with a QB for the next 4-5 years if he fails, it's not like it was a few years ago where the money spent on a 1st round QB would force your hand, now if he doesn't work out in a couple of years, you let him go and try again.

With todays CBA & Rookie cap, if a QB sucks, you can cut bait quick. No need to keep him 4-5 years except maybe as a back up if they like him for that.
