Maybe this is a perception problem I am having, but it sure seems like the Bills and Marrone are mimicking his strategy when he got to Syracuse. He cleaned house, it certainly appears they are intent on sacrificing the upcoming season, in what appears to me to be an attempt to get a different leadership group and mindset.

I have thought hard, what other tangible reason to cut loose the Senator, not sign Levitre even though we could have afforded him, pushing Fitz, Jones, Nelson....

I wonder just how broken that room was that led to these changes. It will be interesting to watch.

I guess. But in a time where most coaches only have three years to prove themselves you'd think they wouldve been more proactive.

He's a complete unknown and saying nothing to the press, which only heightens the nerves.

I'll wait until Fisher camp starts and see the roster then. Vet players should be added before and after the draft.

I think we've ID'd all the roster concerns ad nauseum, due to the lack of news. The waiting has already turned many here into bat*****t loons, which in itself is entertaining.

Obviously Levitre was the problem with the Bills last season! Guys like that that are durable, dependable, team oriented and of good character can really cause problems in the locker room.

He gets a pass this season no matter what.

I expect it to be a 2-14 season.

Buddy will be blamed.

I agree. It seems like this HC was tapped to change an entire program around and are most likely to clean house which is why they are not rushing to bring in FA's is my guess.

What I do like about the Marrone hire is that his asst coaches are people who are familiar with the current state of how the game has evolved. He's hired people who have experience planing against the spread ,etc. Whether it pans out remains to be seen.

This is it. Finally a guy comes in to Buffalo and realizes that his first year doesn't mean crap. So clean house and retool.

Even if they do take the first QB in this draft, what's to prevent them from doing it again next year? Nothing.

Marrone will get a pass on the crappy 2013 season. Nix will get blamed, then he will be politely escorted out the door and into retirement.

Buddy is the enemy, Whaley becomes the savior next season.

This team is so under the radar and so debased that no one who would even want to be on a team would sign here, until next year, when we "have the pieces in place."

1 guard, 1 middle of the road WR, a hybrid DE/OLB, a backup DE, and a safety would have made this a good free agency. We've got 1 of those barely covered.

It's all on the draft picks now, and probably another 15 UDFA's that the Bills deem as "diamonds in the ruff" or whatever.

I figure that after the draft I will be depressed, after seeing the training camp roster I will be really depressed and after about 3 games I will be suicidal.

But at least with no NFL Sunday Ticket I will be spared the real horror of watching

i hope we do not draft a qb cause they all suck and i hope we have an even crappier season then ever and get a top 1-3 pick and get next years crop of qbs to select from
but none of this will happen
we will draft one of these louts and get the usual 6 wins and get a middlin draft pick again and loose for ever more
aint I a peach :)

I'm not completely sure but I'm taking it you must be one of them fans who predicts this team to win around 10 games every season. Either that or they are always only one more season away from contending.

People have a right to ***** about this roster. If you think it's going to be a viable roster when training camp rolls around then you must be one of them types who make accuses for them every season. Looking at reality isn't a bad thing and many around here should try it sometime.

I can handle a complete dismantling of this team since there wasn't much to dismantle or many worthwhile players in the first place. I don't trust these same losers who have kept us in this position for years to be the ones to turn it around. Them same people are still the same ones making the decisions even though they have completely failed the first time around.
