Rotoworld's Post Free Agency Mock Draft:

Find all the latest Rotoworld fantasy sports news, live coverage, videos, highlights, stats, predictions, and results right here on NBC Sports.

    8. Buffalo Bills -- Notre Dame TE Tyler Eifert

Eighth overall may seem early for a tight end, but not if you've paid attention to GM Buddy Nix's offseason plan. "We want a guy who can go up and snatch the ball, that he’s open when he’s covered,” Nix stated after the season. “Go up and high point the ball and get it." High-pointing passes is Eifert's bread and butter, and Buffalo is needy at tight end, evidenced by the club's flirtations with Fred Davis. Unlike Davis, Eifert would be a long-term solution at the position.

My thoughts are that is a TERRIBLE pick at #8.

Buddy should immediately resign once he makes that pick.

I can't see NIx reaching but he might especially since NIx thinks there's plenty of wr in the later rounds .

So, by this drafts idea, Buddy 100% is accepting that he is going to have a signal caller who will either be mentally handicapped and go for the biggest target on the field or will throw it so high over his own receivers head he needs to find a target to do so?

If that's the case, then by all means "bravo and let's go!"

Meanwhile, I'll give someone all my ZB's to come rip my eyes and ears out so that I don't have to deal with the Bills anymore.
            Bye Bye Brady...

I saw another mock draft today where the Bills picked Tyler Eifert. . . in round 2. I like that a lot more.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

I would rather that too. If the qb they want is there take him at 8 and go for Eifert in 2.

I would love him on the Bills but not at 8 if they can trade back to get him then all for it.

That will never happen. Buddy is going to take a QB at #8...he has to. They only have 6 picks in the draft and doesn't want to trade any away by trying to trade back up into the mid-late first. I am fully convinced he is taking one at #8.

TE at 8 is laughable IMO.

It's very likley to be a QB... Even if Barkley and Smith are both gone.

We don't even know how much the Bills like either of them. Barkley has a mediocre arm at best & Smith has never been able to beat a Marrone team. I would not be surprised if the Bills have other QBs targeted than those two anyway.

I can see Wilson or even Nassib at 8.

If they wait until round 2 they may still get Nassib but I think it would be Manuel.

It's not an awful pick given the talent from #5 to #30 is pretty even in this draft and it's a positional need... I like that pick more than a QB.

I hate that Ziggy Ansah and Dion Jordan have risen so much.
