We dropped the ball on that too? Are we allergic to making improvements?

He's supposedly visiting Buffalo tomorrow. Schefter tweeted a few days ago, after the initial meeting between the Bills and Davis, that he'd be in town Wednesday.

Never heard of "Fed" Davis, but FRED Davis is coming to Buffalo tomorrow per Schefter.

Really thought you were better than most of the posts you've been involved with Miyagi.

He played in Washington, hence "Fed" Davis.

Did you even consider that the Bills would like to have their doctors check him out before offering him a contract.
i hope you are being sarcastic. But I know that some people do think like this.

IMO it would be a bad move, so look for the Bills to offer him a big contract.

He said that he's been running and is ahead of schedule, what ever that may have been.

I miss the groan button. Being groaned by Nick Markakis was one of my favorite things.

But what free agent coming off of injury would say anything else? Dude wants paid!

Well it has become the topic of almost half the posts in this thread. Otherwise there's just not much there.

Davis will be in Buffalo today. If he leaves without a contract, he's going to visit the Jets:

F the Jets. If I were him I'd rather play with Tavaris Jackson/Rookie than Sanchez.

I'm sure he would rather play with RGIII than any QB on the Bills or Jets. MONEY will determine where he plays.

Davis doesn’t mind presence of Chandler

Free agent Davis liked Marrone

Appearing on PFC Radio Wednesday morning, Davis said he sat down over dinner with Bills President & CEO Russ Brandon, GM Buddy Nix, head coach Doug Marrone and offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett. When asked for his initial impressions of Marrone, Davis said he came away impressed.

“I think when you meet him, just talking to him, he seems like a player’s coach, down to earth and real and that’s something with a lot of coaches you don’t get a chance to see,” said Davis. ”He was really cool and all the things he talked about you can tell he’s a humble guy that doesn’t make choices because of money. It’s more about what he wants to do in life.”

Davis: I’m visiting Bills this week (thurs)

Does RGIII become RGII since he's missing a leg?
