No surprise here... once the Jets got cut this was clear.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
        It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

I think he wanted to stay and just used the Bills as leverage to see if the Skins would up their offer. He probably went back to the Skins and either got a little more cash or decided not worth leaving Skins.

He's coming of an Achilles injury... No one is going to invest longterm in him until he produces again at a high level for an entire season.

so he's in a position where he HAS to gamble on a one year deal.

The question for him then becomes... where does he stand the best chance of showing off his skills... in Washington with RGIII throwing to him, or in Buffalo?

            lolz.

Yeah, this is why we had no chance of significant upgrade at WR in FA. What good WR is going to commit to a place that more or less doesn't have a QB.
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?

He's rehabbing and the Bills already have a rehabbing TE under contract.

I'm sorry but a young, healthy TE in the draft was a better idea all along. Act rejected but it's probably all for the better.

Need someone who can get in sync during camp with our new QB... Not standing on the sidelines next to Chandler.

Meh, if this team is into limping players, maybe we can get Jason Peters back.

We can kick Glenn to guard, just for Coastal.

Aren't the bridesmaids often hotter and the ones you can get drunk and get to put out?

Yes, we just get screwed but never the real commitment.

The one year deal is probably more attractive. If he goes out and has a healthy, productive year he can cash in on a long-term deal at real money next year. It makes more sense to stay with the Redskins as well, since he won't have to learn a new system and they have a QB that can get him the ball.
