Barnett sucked for exactly one season. One that happened to coincide with Dave Wannstedt being the d-coordinator.

That may have been a factor but Barnett couldn't cover anymore. Our underneath areas were vulnerable and TEs and RBs were easy targets.

Hey I make no apologies. I think Nick Barnett is a decent ball player.

If it were up to me, I'd cut Kelvin Sheppard and move Barnett to MLB.

Barnett was our leading tackler after all.

And FWIW Sheppard is worse than Brandon Spoon. How that guy is still on our payroll I'll never know.
