Just saw it on NFL.com its not official but will be soon maybe this is what Gilmore is excited about for tommorow.

You are probably right. That is Gilmores big news. Nothing to get all excited about imo. Apparently no other team thought much of him.

That may have been a factor but Barnett couldn't cover anymore. Our underneath areas were vulnerable and TEs and RBs were easy targets.

Hey I make no apologies. I think Nick Barnett is a decent ball player.

If it were up to me, I'd cut Kelvin Sheppard and move Barnett to MLB.

Barnett was our leading tackler after all.

And FWIW Sheppard is worse than Brandon Spoon. How that guy is still on our payroll I'll never know.

And if that player or another player is signed by the team then they instantly become a level or two better then they really are.
