Tonight's game is a perfect example o why we need this kid to rebuild the defensive core of this team.

Our biggest problem is defense and our inability to break the puck out of the defensive zone.

this is a blessing. This team when fully stacked at the beginning of theseason was no better than a 1st round exit playoff team. Now that we are re-tooling with a lot of 1st and second round picks, we need them to be high so we can score a legit day 1 player, and then trade some picks for immediate impact player. stay at home defensemen that are 24-27yo would be ideal to help solidify the defense and give us a chance to re-establish meyers game.

Even with that... He needs to be the second line defensive rotation. Drafting or signing a superstar defenseman to play with Erhoff should be the goal.

Darnell... Although probably needing a year after being drafted in the minors represents that idea! He had every ability as he fills out to be a Pronger type player.
