wonder what the contract issue was. maybe russ forgot a zero and now we've got kevin kolb for $130MM for two seasons. that is the MO for the bills, "pay a lot for trash"

Good now hopefully the Bills brass can get on with the job of identifying a long term solution to the Bills QB situation.

When we played AZ, we ended up knocking out our own future QB. There's some irony in that & tells you just how bad AZ's O-line was because of how well we specifically played against them.

So it's not actually official until the Bills report it. Mark Gaughan could be parroting Adam Shefter; we don't know. But what we do know is that both Shefter and Gaughan are credible meaning it's not a rumor.

I bet the Bills won't announce the signing on V-text or otherwise until he actually signs on the dotted line at OBD next week.

Thanks for the link, It's an interesting read

When the player responds as Kolb has, it is a done deal. I look forward to seeing if Kolb can stay healthy. If he can, I think we could be in for some FUN.

We have a better QB with him and some might be surprised. Is he the long term answer? Probably not but he can competently hold the reins until we find that franchise guy.

Yet Arizona thought he couldn't there?

He's just another body in this rebuilding year.

To be fair, Arizona is more of a trainwreck than we are. I don't think Kolb will be the next Jim Kelly but I think he will be marginally better than Fitzpatrick.

Well, Kolb COST the Cards a LOT MORE than he cost the Bills. Kind of like how Fitz COST the Bills a LOT MORE than he cost the Titans.
