And we need Leino to get better because injured players can't be bought out.the speculation around the leino thing is that he's not really hurt, just in Ron's dog house and likely to remain out for the rest of the year... when asked about it over the weekend Leino refused to comment, and this morning, when asked if he was done for the year, Rolston said "its very likely"

Nothing sure yet but it was something of a surprise that he missed Sunday so I'm going to say he'll play.

Against my better judgement, I'll go Sabs 4-3 in SO.

Vanek will be the difference so if he doesn't play, Winnipeg 3-2 in regulation. This one is just for fun. Above is my firm pick.

Sabres are 2 points behind Winnipeg and have a game in hand. Win this in regulation and they are tied for points. Lose this game and the very remote playoff hopes become a virtual impossibility.

The only silver lining is that if Buffalo loses, it helps Winnipeg stay close to the Caps and hopefully keep the Caps out of the playoffs. The only thing worse than having the Sabres out of the playoffs is the ****ing Caps bandwagon as people who didn't give a **** about hockey all season suddenly get excited about it.

Funny how 2 Goals were Exact Carbon Copies of each other,

Puck is passed/shot from side boards, comes to player standing between the face off circles all alone, boom goal.>


Almost like they purposely set those plays up that way, cuz there wasnt a buffalo player ANYWHERE near the players on both goals.
