It's a streaming video...there is no file. There are ways you could save it, but they're so involved as not to be worth the effort.

If it was a downloaded video to WMP, you could search for it, then drag it into whatever folder you want to.

Save the link from RealPlayer as I do for streaming videos I want to save. Then you can go to that folder and play it any time you want, if you have high speed internet, that is.

Oh posterity...well, in that case....HERE's (http://www.techsmith.com/products/camtasia/features.asp) a program that you can download that'll capture video of your screen. If the Bledsoe video means that much to you then you won't mind the learning curve involved in this software

Go HERE (http://www.techsmith.com/freetrials.asp#camtasia) to download a 30 day free trail version of the proggie.HERE's (http://www.techsmith.com/products/camtasia/camtasia.asp) the main web page for that program, you may want to look it over. It'll capture your screen like a video recoder and you save the files as .avi's.

Can't you get a dish out there in the old west? Here in the city slicker east they install them for free (with a one or two year commitment) and the monthly bill can average about $30 or $40 a month.

I guess you could probably make an avi off it, but it would be a MB or two.

As far as getting a jpg from it, the resolution of the movie is so small a screen shot would be the size of an avatar. The best shot of the hit was the first replay and a screen shot does'nt clearly show that it's Bledsoe hitting the other guy.

If it's still wanted later tonight I'm make a video of it and post the file.

I have the game and the ESPN highlights archived in divx, I just don't know how good of an idea it is to send any of it out to people...

Jpgs would not do it justice at any resolution.

BTW, Noc - I read your reply in that other thread about the camera white balance, etc. but thought you were banned when your posts started disappearing... lol Anyway, thanks - the Nikon lets me manually control it, I just need to play around with the settings - I never took the time to really learn how to use it which is obviously part of the problem.

Yeah, automatic white balance doesn't produce as good of result as doing it manually. Manually on my camera is simply hitting one button twice as I focus on a white object in the area I'm going to take a picture. Becomes second nature after awhile.

What resolution do you have the video of that hit? The reason I ask is, if it's greater then lets say…300x200 I could capture 4 or 5 screen shots of the hit and turn it into a relatively low file sized animated gif.

Cool, yeah... if you could capture like 5 to 10 sequential still shots of the hit at around 300x200 it would make a nice animated gif.

I could even take those stills and create a flash file and add a wav file that plays at the end of the hit...I thought a good movie quote would be, "how do you like <i>them apples</i>?" from Good Will Hunting or "how do you like me <i>NOW</i>!?" from the same movie.

Whew - that took a bit longer than I thought...

I put a little highlight clip together - PM me if want to check it out. Its ~15mb - I also made a smaller one, around 8mb, but its pretty blocky.

I don't know if you're on dial-up casdhf - I know you were looking for a smaller file, but I got a little carried away. This one's around 2 minutes and has all of the Bills highlights (Jets removed :D )

BTW, if the 'Booms' didn't line up with the hits in the video, somethings wrong... It seems the video plays too fast in WMP6.4, Real. - I have no idea why. It plays fine in WMP8, Premiere and VirtualDub.
