Me and my friends are planning a trip to Pittsburgh for the game against the Steelers and I was wondering if anyone has ever been to game in Pittsburgh and is it fun there? Are there a lot of bars near the stadium?

Heinz field is between the Casino and the baseball stadium. Lots of bars around the baseball stadium like Jerome Bettis' etc. Across the 6th street bridge (nice work summer and fall), lots of bars on 6th street (known to be the bar scene in downtown). However, if you really want to hit it up, you may want to take a 5 min cab ride or jump on the clipper boat across to the south side where the youth are partying it up, including Steelers players and Pitt Panther guys (several years ago, I was too close to one of the girls in a south side bar that a Pitt guard came around threatened bodily harm to me). Actually many would go park on the south side, take the boat ride to the game, and then back for more party.
