http://www.cnn.com/2013/04/21/us/al-michaels-arrest/index.html?hpt=hp_t3I don't think Summerall was ever busted for DUI. His drinking problems came to light because his friends, family and co-workers had an Intervention and he went into Betty Ford.

BTW, nice touch throwing in a man that just passed away a few days ago. All class.

I'm always fascinated when people point the finger at celebrities for their shortcomings, like they are somehow above it all.

Brett Favre comes to mind when it came out that he was addicted to vicodin. "Oh...My...God, Favre's a junkie?" The fact is that a multitude of NFL players and ex-players have to take those meds because of the damage the game has done to their bodies.

Then again, there are a lot of people that enjoy seeing the mighty fall. The Enquirer, Tattler and Globe have made fortunes from it.

You'll have to forgive MitchMurraydowntown. He walks on water and doesn't understand why everyone else doesn't.

Why is it such a crime to have a couple of drinks and then drive home?

Why is it such a crime to have a couple of drinks and then drive home?Mother's Against Drunk Drivers have made even having a beer with lunch a hanging offense.

I read an interview with Al Michaels years ago and he claimed that he despises vegetables, and only eats meat and one veggie, potatoes. Said he exercises regularly and gets all his vitamins via pills. I guess he was adding a little extra sugar to his diet and it caught up with him. Still one of my favorite commentators of all time.
