2 points here:

1.) The whole regular season is not being played, so whoever gets to the shortened finish line first wins but there will always be a * . Like hitting a hole in one from the ladies tee per se, you did it but did you really do it ?

2.) There's a chance YR or me could catch you but you'll know for sure that you won it or not by the last game, after you win it / it's game over unless you do this. I would also prefer to not get passed but if it helps make the last game more exciting, then there's something to it.

The only problem with that is it completely eliminates everything done to this point, the idea is for everyone to have some type of chance to move up. Interesting idea though.
