I like woods I just don't think he's the kind of guy who can "go up and get it" like the Bills coaches have said they want.

So Tampa is trading back into their original spot? Neat.

I had him going in the top 15 then I made a change and didn't put him back.. I have some changes to make as well as the Tampa, Jets trade.

To piggy back....

With the draft tomorrow...this is my last "mock" for the Bills in the first 3 rounds..

1st -- Chance Warmack, G - Alabama

-The reasoning behind this is simple for me. He's the best lineman in the draft. I believe that when we pick at 8, guys I'd really prefer such as Lane Johnson and Dee Milliner will be gone. That leaves us with guys like Mingo, Nassib, Barkely, and Tavon Austin. Not much to pick from really, so I go with the best player method and someone who will be on our line for a long time (until we let him walk...hey-O!) to come. I know it's not a popular pick or sexy pick and almost all Bills fans will erupt in rage, this is how I think it plays out.

2nd -- Ryan Nassib, QB Syracuse

-The Bills get their guy they wanted all along. He falls to their 2nd round pick, and Barkley and Geno Smith are already off the board. They get lucky and don't have to use the 8th pick on him and Marrone can plug in his boy, whom I'm not really a fan of at all. I think he's got some tools to be an NFL starter, but no wow factor or nothing he does outstanding other than intelligence and we've seen how that works out.

3rd -- Terrance Williams, WR Baylor

-The Bills get some much needed WR depth. I thought about LB or CB here, but it's a deep CB draft and they may stockpile those later on in the draft and I think the Bills believe they are set at LB. Williams being here at this point is no lock, but if he is, I think the Bills grab him. Big at 6-2 208lbs and a quick and smooth natural athlete.

Like I said, this is how I think it plays out, by whose left when the Bills pick. Is it my ideal situation? No, trading down and acquiring more picks is what I want to really do. That's best case scenario. Guess we'll just wait and see..

I could live with that draft. I just know that Nassib won't last till 41 though.

If your mock is right and DEE MILLNER is available at #8 expect a call from the Falcons
to move up for him. Then we could still get Geno or Manuel at #30 and more picks to
get some great WR's. This is all contingent on your mock being right.

Convinced we have Smith, Nassib, or Barkley.

I'm almost certain Milliner will be there at 8. The linemen will be snagged in the top 7 and I don't think Milliner is as good as Peterson or Claiborne.

Would be a disaster draft if we don't get one of those 3. And depending on where they are selected I could live with either. With Barkley, Smith and Nassib in order of preference.

If 1-7 plays out like this mock... I can't see taking Barkley at 8 if the next QB to be sniffed at is Geno in round 2... Why not go best player and then take your pick of all but 1 QB in the second?

Because in between our pick at 8 and our pick at 41 you have Jax, Philly, Arizona, Jets twice. That's 5 picks that will likely include at least 3 QB selections. And if they like Barkley or Nassib or Smith there is no way they last till 41. You also have 2 wildcard teams like Vikings and Titans who might grab a QB before we pick.

Too much risk if you want a QB.

Okay.. in this mock... we don't take Barkley at 8. Are you saying because of that, mystically, 3 or more will be selected between 9 and 40?

No a bad idea. Shooting with a shotgun is more accurate.

Yes, I think 3 or more QBs will be selected between our pick at 8 and 41. Too many teams with needs at QB before 41 and the QBs match the value in those spots nicely.
