Again, didn't see one posted yet... Less than 15 minutes before the 4th Round begins.

Looks like Jacksonville might trade the first pick in the 4th round... Schefter said they've been on the phone all morning fielding offers.

Mayock says Williams would've went higher but off field issues dropped him. Should've been in the Sr. Bowl but again the off the field issues. Also says he's very gifted........Daniel Jeramiah says he's one of his favorite players.......very gifted player. At least we're taking chances this year.

One of about 5-6 safeties that would have been good picks here.

I'm honestly surprised they passed on Shamarko Thomas. Impressed that a Syracuse bias isn't creeping into the draft room.

This guy could fit the hybrid LB/S position in Pettine's system to a T. I think we're going to see some pretty interesting looks on D this year in long yardage situations. Lots of front 6 with an adept back 5 at covering and stopping the run.

From everything we've seen, Smith, Nassib, and Barkley were all supposed to be gone by the end of the 1st/top of the second too. It's safe to say that the sportswriters mostly whiffed on this draft...and not just in relation to the Bills.

There was a pretty good run on the 2nd tier prospects in the 4th round. 7 or 8 were taken. We could have probably found a reasonable replacement for Levitre there.

Negative: Slow and stiff pedaling in reverse. Takes incorrect angles to the action. Does not display a good feel in coverage. There's a reason he ranked him as the 27th best S in the draft and graded him as an undrafteable free agent.

It's not a wasted pick if Hopkins is the kicker for next 5+ years. Potter was a wasted pick.

That being said, it's still the 6th round and the likelihood you're getting some sure fire stud is slim to none anyway.

I would def take Hopkins over Washington. I think Washington was misused last year at Georgia but even when he was in the right spot before he only mustered up 4 sacks for all of his athletic prowess. Thats exactly why he's gone undrafted so far behind 2 Punters and 2 Kickers. I'd take Rogers over him but after taking 2 WR's earlier you dont actually expect them to take another WR do you? If Rogers goes undrafted I would suspect we'll be on the phoen calling him quickly.

If Mark Anderson is healthy then Washington just sits around on the bench mostly anyway.

Rogers? We've already drafted 2 WRs and are pretty young overall at the position. I'd like to see us bring in a vet presence to go along with Stevie at the position.

Now if you said Michael Williams or Ben Cotton, I might be on board to hear the argument.

Either way the 2 guys you mentioned and the two TE's I mentioned could still be there in the 7th.

I'm not quite sure what the relevance is here. Nobody is disagreeing that its not a need, or even a good pick. I just hate spending picks on ST.

Moorman, Powell, hell even Christie all undrafted guys.

In earlier rounds I completely agree. Sebastian Janikowski while a great kicker with a huge leg is still one of the stupidest picks I can think of in recent memory by the Raiders in Round 1.

On the other side of the token, Mason Crosby, even with his struggles lately, was still a smart pick a few years ago by the Packers.

I didn't mean to quote you.

there's a chance that Hopkins would stick than anyone else because Lindell just isn't cutting it. Tank Carder didn't stick.

We can always find 6th rd talent through FA or June cuts but at least there's ahuge possibility, we have our future kicker.

I said Hopkins is a phenomenal prospect just dont see the need to draft a kicker.

When Crosby was taken who the Packers kicker, I honestly can't recall if they even had one on the roster. Didn't Longwell sign with Minny before that draft?

Never actually answered the question I noticed.

I wouldn't take Rogers period given what we've already done.

And Washington is meh to me, to be honest. It was already pointed out that he was misused and under achieved so he just seems like a guy to me who wouldn't even make the roster. But even if he did he'd still be on the bench.

Lindell isn't getting any younger and has no leg.

So I would take Hopkins over both of them with everything factored in.

I will say this about Hopkins. He's a great kicker and he has great accuracy and he'll get touchbacks. The one thing you will hate about him is the way he approaches the ball before his about to kick off. You will laugh and be like WTF is wrong with this guy the first time you see it.

if he wasn't the best the best kicker in college and it wasn't a need, I'd agree. It really doesn't bother me since it's only a 6th.

Size, big play ability, and deep ball skills which we lack currently.

NFL.com compares him to Billy Cundiff.

Could be Lindell's replacement as Cundiff had a good career minus one kick everyone will always remember him for.

LOL. Comparing a kicker to another kicker? Seems ******ed imo. What makes them chose Billy Cundiff? Do they look like each other?

We don't have a WR like Rogers on the roster. He would be like an Anquan Boldin type player, or maybe like a shorter Brandon Marshall.

Or he could be a guy who doesn't even make the team as we have 4 guys already who will make the team ahead of another drafted WR.

At best, 5th on the depth chart WR vs hopefully starting kicker...no brainer to me.

He's Boldin or Marshall but he's still on the board in the 6th round? OK.

...Because the tried and true strategy of "Playing it safe" and drafting "Players with good character" has worked so well for the Bills the past 13 years.

After listening to the Scout on Duke Williams, it sounds like we plan on playing Duke Williams at CB. It sounded like the media was trying to ask whether he was more of a FS or SS and the scout said hes physical and thinks he can play some Corner or in the Nickle spot. This might make more sense on why we took 2 safeties back to back if they feel that Williams will play CB and Meeks will play S
