Darryl Lamonica 1963
Joe Ferguson 1973
Jim Kelly 1983

For those who like things number related, the fact that EJ Manuel was drafted in 2013 has to be a good omen.

Every year that ended with 3 has featured a drafted QB that has played with the Bills sometime during his career. History shows that if he wasn't originally drafted by the Bills, it doesn't turn out as well.
In the 1993 draft, 2 future Bills QBs were drafted Drew Bledsoe (NE) & Billy Joe Hobert (Oak)
In the 2003 draft, Gibran Hamdan (Wash)

I move my bowels best during days that end in "y". Except in monthe with only one syllable. That is when I might need some "equipment".

the odd number years since 2003 has resulted in our first round pick being out of the NFL in 5 years.
also an omen of sorts. let's see if this is reversed with EJ.

And he's Bruce Smith's godson. That could be an omen too. While I wasn't a fan of the pick, I hope this turns out well.

What, no Gale Gilbert?

I believe he was a FA from Seattle.

And Bruce Mathison came from the Chargers.
