who makes the final 9 spot at lb, chris white or dowtin?

who makes the final spot?

chris white is a great special teamer and should be even better 2 years after the knee injury, he can play both spots and is very tough/strong at the poc

dowtin played with pettine and has more speed/athletic ability...

im going with white, as he has proven himself more, is stronger and underrated ilb/wlb...

hes a 4.6 guy too

Dowtin. He's Pettines guy and he has more LB versatility while White is a pure MLB. Pretty much the same reason we just booted Sheppard

i wouldnt say white is a pure mlb, hes faster and more athletic than shepp, yet has more shed ability than dowtin

Why is anyone listing Mario as an OLB?

he weighs close to 300? No?

Id tell him and his limp wrist that he was playing 5 tech DE in an odd man front this year and that if he doesn't immediately start taking some ownership for the onfield production of the defense he wasn't going to see year 3 of his contract.

pettine and nix said he will be rushing the passer obviously. thats just his base spot. in reality, he will line up everwhere

mario is more of a edge guy, as watt thrives at the 3tech.

i agree mario could do it, but not as good. just like watt wouldnt be as good a edge rusher
