On the same day Bills rookie minicamp opened at One Bills Drive Buffalo’s front office made a big dent in getting their 2013 draft class under contract. A day after signing seventh-round pick Chris Gragg to his rookie contract, Buffalo signed four of his draft classmates shortly before the first practice Friday.

The Bills signed third-round receiver Marquise Goodwin, fourth-round defensive back Duke Williams, fifth-round safety Jonathan Meeks and sixth-round kicker Dustin Hopkins.......

The signings leave only Buffalo’s top three picks unsigned, quarterback EJ Manuel, receiver Robert Woods and linebacker Kiko Alonso. All of the Bills draft choices are expected to be on the practice field Friday for the start of rookie minicamp, which runs through Sunday.

This seems faster than has been done in the past, no? Maybe it's because of the new CBA, maybe it's because of Marrone...probably the new CBA.

Are other teams signing their players this quick?

The Bears have been signing picks quickly, though they do that every year. There have been a number of late round picks already. The Saints already signed their first rounder.

Ansah already signed with the Lions I saw, that should speed things up towards the top

The 9ers just signed 4 picks and Detroit has all their picks signed.

We need to get these guys together in camp & then together on their own, organizing private OTA's.

Yes. It's because the new CBA allows extremely little wiggle room for the contracts.

Love this piece of the new CBA. It's great not spending all summer fretting over unsigned draft picks.
