Brian Hartline says the Dolphins have the best receivers in the AFC East

Yep, that is what he says. Stevie is a number two. Not sure what I think. I think the mid season rankings will be different.

as far as proven, yeah that's probably right for their top 3... Wallace, Gibson and hartline along with keller and clay can cause many problems

That's like saying they are the tallest dwarfs. Buffalo has a bunch of unproven receivers. Jets receivers suck. Pats lost Welker and have a guy that is facing another surgery on his arm. How much is the payroll for the Dolphins wide receivers anyway?

            Mike Wallace is badass.

Dustin Keller doesn't strike fear in the heart of an opposing D.

Sure, he had okay yardage in 2011, but he's never been anything but a bum in any other category. His career stats are subpar.

Brian Hartline, Brandon Gibson, and Armon Binns (Cincy castoff) are all textbook MEH.

I think think of better **** to get excited about than these bozos. Have fun, Miami.

And I agree with him. We have Stevie. And a lot of unprovens after him. So Hartline is correct, but all that Miami has won so far is the offseason. Lets see who has the better receivers after 16 games.
True fans want wins, not draft picks.

I think we all learned a valuable lesson in the pitfalls of crowning yourself king at any given position before the season starts. Brian Hartline is going to learn that soon enough, I'm sure.

Remember the d-line chatter last season?

Still gotta make these guys function as a unit. This isn't a game of paper, rock, scissors... names scribbled on a piece of paper aren't all they appear to be.

don't care if they had the best wr in the league on paper as long as it stays on paper.

I can't disagree, though if Gronkowski can come back, New England has a lot of talent still. Danny Amendola isn't Wes Welker, but if he can stay healthy, he's a pretty productive replacement, and New England has the QB who can get them the ball. Buffalo's receiving corps has all kinds of potential, but beyond Steve Johnson and Scott Chandler, they've got nobody who has done much of anything in an NFL game. Hopefully, Robert Woods can turn his polish and route running ability into instant production as a rookie. Hopefully, TJ Graham can use the experience he had as a rookie last season and start to play at a high level. But Marquise Goodwin, Chris Gragg and others are all going to need time to turn their physical talent into NFL level skill. If all the youngsters fulfill their potential, we may be thinking Buffalo has the best group of receivers in the AFC East at the end of 2014, but for now I'll content myself with a group that at least looks like it has potential.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

Anyone wonder what the AFC East would look like without Tom Brady? Easily, the worst division in football. Miami very well may have the best group of NFL level WR's in the AFC East and they also have the bsecond best QB. I would be impressed if they were in the NFC North and could say that. They couldn't even claim 4th there.

                        Mike Wallace stats: 196 rec 3286yds 26td
                        2010 - 60 rec 1257yds 10td

                        2012 - 64 rec 836yds 8td

                        Stevie Johnson: 237 rec 3123yds 23td
                        2010 - 82 rec 1073yds 10td
                        2011 - 76 rec 1004yds 7td
                        2012 - 79 rec 1046yds 6td

One guy had Big Ben throwing him the football while the other had Ryan Fitzpatrick. So Mike Wallace is considered a #1 while SJ is only a #2? Wallace looks like Lee Evans to me..........will get you some big plays but will never be a complete WR.

Some of my non-bills fan friends said we could have the best DL with Kyle-Anderson-Dareus-Mario , in the entire NFL last year. All we had to do was ruin them by hiring a coach who didn't know what the read option was and didn't know how/when to blitz.

All we have to do is get to Tannehill and I don't care who their wr's are.
