“We have her in the chair, and she kept sliding out the chair,” Tamina explained of the moment. “She said, ‘My brother! My brother! He did it! He did it!’ Oh, man.”

What a beautiful source of inspiration.

I hope Goodwin has a fantastic career -- not just for the Bills sake -- but because he's doing it for the right reasons and it gives his little sister reasons to smile.

This kid has a fantastic perspective on life. I got choked up a few times reading the article because I lost my little sister who was born prematurely and eventually passed away from meningitis. You forget how many things you take for granted until you see someone you love incapacitated in some way.

Perspective is a wonderful thing. When you think things aren't all that great, just realize there are always people worse-off then yourself.

Goodwin actually lives with EJ Manuel the last time I checked. Those guys are roommates.

I know EJ roomed with Zebrie Sanders in College & they are very close.

He'd be a good jersey to get because he's going to be a good one.

Name-wise, he's the anti-Losman.

Hope he has a long and stellar career with several probowls, playoff births and a superbowl MVP or two (all with the Bills of course), followed by a long, prosperous, and healthy retirement. Seems like a class act.

*berths, damn you'd think after 13 years of elementary and secondary education, 4.5 years of college and 3 years of post grad studies that I'd learn how to spell. Anyways, Goodwin seems like a great guy and I wish him the best.
