for a second there I thought you meant $5m per year and nearly had a heart attack. It's $5 million TOTAL over 3 years.

I can live with it- Weber's not great but he's serviceable and the contract is cheap enough that it won't hurt the team or prevent them from moving him if they decide to do so.

That leaves Sulzer (UFA), Hodgson (RFA) and a few others that need signing with $13.7M.

Weber has more heart than skill. Decent 5th or 6th defenseman. Loses more fights than he wins but will stick up for his teammates. If more players had his heart the team would be much better.

yeah and it's ashame too...March 14th he went into the boards awkwardly on Long Island trying to beat out an icing call which is another reason why the NHL has to do something about icing either they go to no-touch icing or hybrid icing! but he had to have surgery on a torn right knee ligament.

Sulzer, Gerbe sucked no one on this team worth losing any sleep over. The sad part is Regier will replace them, thats disturbing. PS Detdannywilliams is losmanwins?
