Nurse compares to role model (and teammate?) Shea Weber

"You see me here—there's a lot of room to grow." he said to SN's Jesse Spector. "I've got a big frame. You could probably put 30 pounds on it when it's all said and done. With that said, as long as you're strong, you see guys who are 6-4 and 205 playing in the league because they're the strongest guys on the ice." "If you're strong enough to play at that level, then no matter how much you weigh, you're gonna win you're battles, and you're gonna be able to keep up with the play. It'd be ideal to put on weight, but my main focus is to get stronger on a daily basis."
And the Weber stuff? Nurse welcomes it.
"He's become someone I've watched a lot, especially this year on video," he said. "(I) try to take away some things from his game—his ability to keep it simple and have such an impact both offensively and defensively is something every defenseman can learn from."
