It's a typo, it probably is talking about Tim Horton and sausage links.

This team could be good with the right additions!

I was never impressed with Horton. Seems a little like Stafford to me.

How does this article "link" Horton to the Sabres? It seems like it's just speculation by one particular writer.

Disagree.

This team is going nowhere unless the Penguins, Blackhawks or Bruins agree to a 1 for 1 roster swap.

disagree.

The team could be good which is somewhere compared to bottom feeders.

I did not say they would challenge the elite teams...however, you only need to upset ONE of those elite teams for a deep playoff run too. Not going to suggest we will be transformed to the powerhouse teams you are bringing into the conversation...on the other hand being a lot more competitive is somewhere in the right direction towards getting there. Then the conversation starts to become adding the right pieces to be in the elite instead of the right pieces to be competitive.

Horton is a very streaky player. He went from the Bruins not even being interested (during the regular season) to a 5 million dollar player based on his post season. He's a solid PF but you have to take the good with the bad.

I didn't watch enough Bruins hockey to know if this assessment is correct, but if it is, the guy sounds like Leino part 2.

Definitely streaky player. He needs someone to make him good. He doesn't just do it on his own and he must be up to 4-5 concussions by now too. I would stay clear.

I am very curious to know why he wanted out of Boston.

He wanted out? It wasn't a cap thing?

PC said he wanted to negotiate, Horton said no thanks that he needed a change of scenery. Chances are the Bruins would be outbid for him, but he took himself out of the running.

he probably got tired of getting knocked out of stanley cup series. So he is looking at buffalo knowing he'll never have to play in a cup again.
