4 Brady picks. The only chance we have, the only 2 times we beat Brady, he threw 4 picks!!

I honestly thought our team was a lock for the superbowl after this game...lol thought we would play smart offense, hit moulds deep once a game and play great d... oh well..

That is a game I will always remember watching. I was 16 and had just started to seriously follow football a couple years earlier. Was that the game with the Sam Adams TD run?

I think so. Too bad they let him go after '05 - cap reasons IIRC. He played '06 here in Cincy - inactive until game 5 or so until he got in shape, but was vintage Sam...still cat-quick off the snap, still demanded double-teaming. Years ago somebody described him best - a pass-rushing linebacker who happens to be built like a rhino.

I was listening/watching the game on my laptop with a very choppy feed (I was stationed in South Korea).

the defense looked like it was going to be legendary that year.... I just don't understand how that team from 02-04 didn't get to a playoff... unreal and ridiculous.

I remember the game clearly. We killed them 31-0 in the home opener. Sam Adams took one to the house with Brady getting crushed trying to tackle him. In the last game of the same season they returned the favor and killed us with the same score.

I was sitting in the end zone watching the game with my family.

I was 19 and got super drunk with my brother and Dad.

My Dad was hammering his fist down on some Pats' fans food table while my brother and I were wrestling over the last cigar.

Good times.
