BUFFALO, N.Y. (July 7, 2013) --- Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier today announced that the Sabres have acquired defenseman Henrik Tallinder from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for forward Riley Boychuk. "We are excited to have Henrik back in the mix on our blue line," said Regier. "His experience will be invaluable not only in adding more stability to our back end, but also in the development of some of our younger defensemen." http://sabres.nhl.com/club/news.htm?...id=DL|BUF|home

Re: You can come home again! Sabres bring back Tallinder
Waiving Gerbe? Going after Briere? Re-signing Tallinder? The Sabres seem hellbent on trying to undo the exact mistakes of the past rather than truly looking forward.
Hopefully Myers and Tallinder can be the duo they once were, but I doubt it. Tallinder is 34 and Myers spent the last 3 years being Ruffed.
