    Johnson Awol For Falcons

Meanwhile, Friday's Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Falcons nose tackle Ellis Johnson has failed to report for the two-day mandatory camp, and that his whereabouts are unknown.

Johnson took a physical on Wednesday, but did not arrive for the Thursday practice sessions.

He signed a three-year, $4.2 million contract prior to the 2002 season, and he considered retirement after the team's playoff loss to the Eagles.

"I thought he was here," teammate Ed Jasper said. "If he's not, then he has a good reason. Ellis is one of those people who believes in doing the right thing, so there must be something wrong."
