The sides agreed on a five-year deal worth, according to Stephen Whyno (https://twitter.com/SWhyno/status/357948813413072896) of the Canadian Press, $6 million annually. Duchene, 22, had 43 points in 46 games last season for Colorado, tied for most on the team, after an injury-filled 2011-12 season. Hodgson is a huge liability in the defensive end that I think needs to be a huge factor in negotiations. He is not a two way player at this stage in his career.
