Do the Bills have the easiest travel schedule?

I've seen complaints about opponents' playing the Bills after Thursday games and byes from some people who think the Bills got a raw deal on the schedule, but what about the ease in travel of the Bills schedule? Not including Toronto, the Bills have to be traveling the fewest miles of any NFL team this season. Using Rand McNally Road Atlas miles between cities, the Bills schedule appears to be jet-lag proof. In the 1st 6 weeks, they travel less than 1,200 miles round trip. Here are the mileages, one way & round trip:
    NY Jets-393/786
    Cleveland-191/382
    Miami-1,378/2,756
    New Orleans-1,244/2,488
    Pittsburgh-217/434
    Tampa Bay-1,235/2,470
    Jacksonville-1,037/2,074
    New England-463/926
    Total 6,158/12,316

This year's team should be really fresh the 1st 6 weeks of the year with 4 home games and trips to NY & Cleveland.

It's an excellent point that hasn't been brought up, we shouldn't be too road worn on our initial stretch here should we ??

Any football team that feels like jet lag is affecting their game should go on the road with the Winnipeg Jets. At most 16 flights over 4 months. That's nothing.

Lehner's history. He just doesn't know it yet.

LOL like miles spent in an airplane is a positive or a negative? What next? Do we compare teams that sleep at hotels that offer tempurpedic mattresses and those with Sealy sets?

How about Teams that allow players to have carryons or not?

          it's not bus travel fellahs.

Well, it looks like the 3 AFC North not playing in London travel fewer miles than the Bills, due to the distances between each city in the division. The distances between the AFC East teams is Buffalo: 2,234; NE: 2,160; NYJ: 1,885 & Miami: 4,145 one way due to Miami's distance from the other 3 teams. The distances in the North for those 3 teams, excluding Pittsburgh since they travel to London are Bal: 1,158; Cin: 1,073; Cle: 739.

If Ralph wasn't so cheap, we'd have a separate cargo plane on each road trip with top of the line custom made mattresses to replace those hotel mattresses for each player.

Saw a tweet about this yesterday:

"Mileage plus: The #49ers will travel a league-high 32,948 miles this year. The Lions have a league-low 4,202 miles."
