According to the Bills training camp live blog: Stevie Johnson just pulled up in the middle of his route in redzone work. Johnson grabbed the back of his left leg and hopped off the field. He’s wing tended to by athletic trainers. We’ll get official word from Coach Marrone after practice.

Well at least we have another opportunity to watch/listen to Marrone snap on that annoying reporter again.

It's hamstring but no info on the severity. Hopefully, nothing serious.

If we lose Stevie then our most experienced WR is Brad Smith followed by TJ Graham. That's a disconcerting thought.

Stevie is constantly fighting hamstring and groin pulls. Does the guy even stretch? At least we know he can play hurt.

It seems as if it's part of training camp, but as you said, we know that Stevie will play through it. I would not rush him back at all.

He is getting an MRI done and they will know more later.

At least he did it early enough that he has time to heal before the real games begin. He doesn't need to play in the preseason games, that is for guys who are looking for jobs.

Having him missing for preseason games would hurt a great deal, actually. We have a new QB, a new offense, new everything. I hope he's good to go for at least 2 of the 4 preseason games.

He woudl probably sit out game 4 of preseason anyways... its the practice time leading up to week 1 that can hurt

Stevie doesn't have the chemistry he had with Fitz. He's going to have to get that with the new qb.

For what it's worth...NFL Network said it is only a strain at most.

Good time for the rooks to get more reps.

Yes, and it will prevent Belichick from knowing where the Bills plan on using Stevie as well.

The coaches already know what SJ13 can do. Opportunity is knocking hard on those rookie's doors!

Marquise Goodwin, Da'Rick Rogers, and Robert Woods are chomping at the bit right now with those extra reps to come.

SJ has had 3 years of consecutive 1,000 yard seasons with an average at best QB.

I'm not sad that Johnson is going to miss the preseason. Oh darn. Sorry Bill.....

Robert Woods could be the best wide receiver on the team, even as a rookie.

I hope this isn't like a couple years ago where he basically had a bad hamstring the entire season and was limping around after most of his plays. He still put up decent numbers but we need him more then ever this year with mostly rookies starting alongside him and possibly a rookie QB too.

This guy always has some type of hamstring or leg issues. He is tough enough to play through them but it's still not a good sign to see every season.
