The battle for the Buffalo Bills’ starting quarterback job is drawing a lot of interest at training camp this summer. Most Bills fans are hoping rookie EJ Manuel can overtake veteran Kevin Kolb in the competition. Even Manuel has noticed fans’ excitement when he’s throwing passes or just running through the tunnel between fields at St. John Fisher College.
“That makes you feel great, one as a player, then also being new to the franchise — everybody is very inviting, and seeing your jersey out in the stands and seeing so many people at practice,” the 23-year-old said.
Buffalo signed Kolb on April 8 after Arizona released him earlier in the offseason. Seventeen days later, the Bills drafted Manuel with the No. 16 overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.

A Phish Phan on a Bills board... nice.

I'd say the odds are at about 90% that EJs the starter for week one. Too much momentum heading his direction. It would take a total collapse combined with a vast improvement from Kolb to turn the needle at this point. I just don't see it.
