While GM Darcy Regier didn’t agree with that insinuation (http://prohockeytalk.nbcsports.com/2013/04/03/sabres-gm-doesnt-want-to-use-r-word-after-pominville-trade/), the prospects that deal brought back (Johan Larsson and Matt Hackett) helped enrich an already exciting group of NHL hopefuls.

When you look at some of the best prospects, Buffalo is poised to make some noise down the road.

It seems that for the last 10 years I've been reading how our junior/minor league drafted players are the best... but then they only progress so far.
Many would have a shot at making this years squad, since they seem to have hit rock bottom.

Our prospect pool hasn't been this highly regarded in awhile. It's actually not even close.
