I think the only surprise might be where Rogers is on the WR chart. And Byrd being in the lineup.

nothing really suprising. I think smith/rogers/Easley are fighting for that 5/6 spot at wr. Zach chibane is in the hunt still at a backup swing lineman. I still think hairston/welch/young/legursky will be the 4 backups. on d nothing is suprising. really like our potential ability to set the edge now with Mario/Lawson outside. aaron Williams will be great at ss imo

from what I heard, ej looked better after the first few series, tuel looked good. the d was just nasty with pressure early, and especially from hughes, dowtin, blatnick constantly turning the corner... choice and fred looked solid as usual, tj and darick caught a couple long balls! kelso said the d was blitzing with very exotic looks. no huddle was very, very fast

According to Joe Buscaglia's notes, McKelvin read Manuel's eyes and got the INT. The other was a deflection that Moats snagged.

On the pick 6, Manuel said that he thought Woods was going inside and he went outside, Manuel took the blame, saying he has to read his receivers better. The 2nd int was tipped at the line, I think by Troup. Goodwin looks like he's gonna be a legitimate WR, aside from his long TD, he had a great catch along the sideline. I think it was Joe B that was saying that Goodwin's blocking has also been really good. TJ Graham also had a really nice TD catch, battling Gilmore for the ball and coming down with it. The defense stopped 8 of 10 goaline plays and supposedly was very active in blitzing throughout the scrimmage. Overall the offense ran 123 plays, which seems like a lot in that time.

I have been told by people on this board McKelvin SUCKS.
McLovin's always been pretty good in zone where he can watch the QB. His problem has always been finding the ball after turning his back and running with the WR. For some reason, we keep asking him to do things he's bad at, instead of the thing he's good at.

I seriously doubt Tuel is giving anyone a run for his money as far as starting or even 2nd string go. If Kolb bombs or is too injured when the season starts, they'll sign a veteran to be #2 & start EJ.

I was talking about camp performance. Tuel we the best qb last night. You'll never know. Maybe he might take Kolb spot at no.2 down the road .
