    Donald Jones Retires

due to kidney disease...scary...good luck donald!

Wide receiver Donald Jones scheduled a few visits with other teams after his release by the Patriots last month, but he won't be joining any of them for the 2013 season.

He still sucks at football. I wish him the best in life.

Dick. If you didn't pay your way out of bans you would have been gone a long time ago. Mods should replace 'Gold Donor' with 'License to be a ****'

Too bad. Hopefully he can find football job around here. He was always liked.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
            It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Let's show Da Jones some class when he visits the Ralph for the opener. :)

Yes, saying that I wish him the best in life really makes me an awful person. Idiot.

I never realized until now that there were two WagonCircler's here only with one of them having a space in their name. Would be easy to get that mixed up.

My thoughts and prayers are with Donald as he embarks on his post-football life.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Well, he realized a dream a very small percentage of people ever get a chance to do. Hope he gets the care he needs and gets to spend as much time with the people he loves as possible.

I wonder if this played into the Pats releasing him ? With the Pats current WR's, it didn't make sense to me why they let Jones go. As much as some people think Jones sucks, he was certainly a better option than some (most) of the WR's on the Pats current roster.

Best of health and luck to Donald Jones.

With Nelson's knee issues and this, I guess I can understand those moves now.
