15 Sabres players hone their skills

On Wednesday, 15 Sabres were on the ice, pushing each other
and honing their skills. Names like Tyler Myers, Marcus Foligno, Mikhail
Grigorenko, planning their own drills and helping their teammates prepare as the
weeks wind down before training camp begins the second week of
    September.

The skills they are working on are as varied as the players on
the ice. While some perfect their slap shot, others tirelessly push on their
edge-work. On Tuesday, Myers called on Cody McCormick to help him with another
    aspect of the game, fighting
    . The preseason opener is
    September 15th against Montreal.

the fact that myers is out there working is a plus. myers never appeared lazy, or apathetic. just terrible positioning and pinching.

I thought the main problem was that he was a lazy bum in the offseason, did zero work, and was totally out of shape last year? It's good to hear he's taking it upon himself NOT to repeat that this year.
