Have to listen to the game on the radio since they don't show it live but Kolb isn't playing very good. He's only 3-8 for 17 yards with an INT and it sounded like he had a couple other passes that would've been intercepted had the DB caught the ball.

Bring on Manuel and let him play for a good 20 minutes or so. If he looks good then let him start next week. I could care less if I ever see Kolb on the field. Even if he does it won't last long before he's injured.

I'm not really worried about Kolb atm, this is what preseason is for and they're doing what they should do.

I'm real impressed that they still seem to actually be practicing the schemes and formations they intend to use, with serious effort and focus. I can't believe how much I became used to vanilla walkthroughs this past decade because they were "saving it for the regular season". I couldn't even really tell in previous years who was really trying, while now I'm having trouble figuring out who isn't trying.

This is positive, and it's not BS. It is what Kolb's performance was...lackluster and average at best.

He had all kinds of opportunities, missed open receivers according to Paul Hamilton, and he didn't score a touchdown with the first team. He's a backup, and EJ looks great. How is that negative?

Those people are correct for the most part. The Pats* have a Great system on DEFENSE. They also have a good to great system on offense, but they also have a GREAT QB ( much as I hate him ) in Brady, but Brady can not do it alone.
It is one thing to have players that are less than Pro Bowlers like Deion Branch & Brandon Lloyd. It is another to have MEDIOCRE players like Donald Jones & Michael Jenkins.

Do you expect Donald Jones & Michael Jenkins to put up similar numbers Welker & Lloyd put up last year? Especially without Hernandez & Gronk on the field?

i just dont understand why all of a sudden its not working properly here. i watched every blacked out game last year with no problems, now every stream i try in IE or chrome either doesnt work at all or it just stops after a random amount of time. then when i refresh its about 20% chance it comes back on, otherwise i have to start all over again

Next week is on the NFL Network. One year I had the preseason package & even though I didn't have the NFL Network at the time, they blacked the game out because it was a national broadcast. So if the same rules apply, next week's game won't be live. This is an easy one to answer since last week's game was on the NFL Network-so those who bought it-was last week's game shown live or did they black it out? Now since I have the NFL Network, I'll get next week's game live & will watch tonight's game on Sunday. So at best I pay $15 to see the last game, which is usually garbage time in the 1st quarter-not worth it. Now if you live in Buffalo & the last game is blacked out, you won't get it live anyway.
Because of the 2 of 4 games being on the NFL Network live, this year wasn't worth buying-next year might be.
One more thing- 3 years ago we played Detroit & in the middle of the game the NFL screwed up & we got something showing the Red Wings playing a hockey game for about 10 minutes during the Bills/Lions game. I bought it the next year & it was better. I didn't buy last year because it was my 1st with NFL Network.

Seeing Marrone with his hat and headset pushed way back off his scalp while fuming over penalties in game 2 of preseason was a rush. Can't wait for preseason game 3.

and i wasnt bugged by tatonka at all. i would pay eleven bucks to watch the game, but since i knew that wasnt going to be an option for the regular season i didnt bother bc i wanted to get these other links working in preparation. hell id pay twenty bucks every time i watched a streamed game if that was available to me, but its not and i know it wont be. so if i want to watch the three or four home games that are going to be blacked out i have to get these god damn streams working

(if you sign up, use directv as the promo code ((thank ED)) and it takes 4$ off).. but i probably care to watch the scrubs more than some. to watch two games (this one and the last one) in HD on my tv was worth it 5-6$ a game. maybe its not to all.. i get it.. it is what it is.

they admittedly have been very impressive so far. for being such a young team with new everything they look amazingly tight and well coached

i just hope it all means something come the regular season. but im not counting on it. too many times you see a team do really well or really crappy in the preseason only for it to completely change when the real games start

sadly i really expect them to struggle early in the season. they will still be working to get everybody on the same page, the young guys will be exploited by opposing coordinators, and the coaces are likely to make some mistakes as they acclimate to the pro game. hope im wrong but im still seeing five wins

It's painful to get excited over a Buffalo sports team. I honestly will love it if they get 5 wins but play like maniacs instead of 9-7 or 7-9 looking like they have for years now, looking forward to ordering room service and watching some netflix.

Beating the Pats certainly would set a nice tone for the rest of the season.

I still think we're a couple of good CB's short of being confident about the Pats game. But Pettine's defenses have done well against Brady before, and hopefully they will again.

I don't know as much as I claim but putting our foot on the gas to make sure others suffer during a game should lead to a better situation than allowing them to violate us as they will. I'd like all all pressure & every moment torture to sitting back & guessing what they might do to me, screw that.
