Marrone says EJ is coming back right away to start practicing?

Apparently it was a 1 minute interview last night on NFL Network.

    Can anyone confirm?

I watched it a couple times last night and that is not what I heard. I do think from hearing what he said, that he will be the starter week 1. Just a gut feeling.

Well, if RGIII can practice but not play for the Skins, I see no reason EJ can't practice with the Bills if the Drs. say it is OK to do so.

I saw the same interview. That's what I heard too. For a moment I thought he was changing his mind about EJ sitting the rest of the preseason.

Wait. Sorry, I'm still confused. He said he would be back practicing very soon?

Yeah, in practice they can put the red no contact jersey on him, which should keep him somewhat safer. No such luck on game day. I think he'll be doing some light stuff soon.

... then again, if kevin the klobb continues to bore it up maybe a rusty ej is still superior

hey wouldnt that be something is ej wasnt ready and the kolb was so uninspiring that they started tuel?? ok wont ever happen but it would be kewl

I wouldn't be surprised if EJ is okay and the qb competition is boiling down to Kolb vs. Tuel.

EJ is obviously the starter....so if he can't go Week 1, does Marrone still announce it that when healthy, EJ is the guy. Really going to be interesting...

As for someone who is going to the opener, I didn't pay to see Kolb run this offense, I want the rook!

I agree. at the very least , even if ej makes mistakes and the bills lose vs the pats, it will be entertaining seeing ej chuck it around and make some nice runs

I heard the announcers for the vikes game (former Bills) say that EJ got the snap off in 12 seconds vs Kevin in 20.

I I think that is what the coaches are looking for....
