No because the thought of having an undrafted rookie QB as a backup to my injured starting QB is a scary thought. Sure Tuel's upside/story is great but realistically I think we'd have a better chance to win with Kolb/EJ starting at QB than Tuel most weeks.

Tuel has better tools and pocket awareness...

Our biggest QB battle should be for EJ's backup..

I'm not going to hope that Kolb stinks it up to open the door for anyone. I don't want EJ or Tuel to get a spot because Kolb sucks, let them get the spot because they are better than someone, not by default because the competition sucks. I'd play Kolb into the 3rd quarter and I hope he plays good, like it or not, he may be our starting QB when the season starts.
I'd give Spiller, Mario Williams and possibly Stevie a quarter of play each, then sit them down. Stevie might benefit from a little more time, but I want him as close to 100% when the season starts. I would play Byrd in the 2nd half, he's had long enough of a vacation.
Penalties need to be cut down drastically, I hope Marrone really laid into them after the Vikings game. GO BILLS

Agree with kishop. I don't want Kolb to be awful, I want him to be good. I want EJ to start just as much as anyone else but I'd like to see his backup be competent and not a complete failure.

If Tuel ends up being our starter one day, I can just see the Ralph having a bunch of guys dressed up like Tim Taylor, and Al Borlain for "Tuel Time".
