Pettine values the versatility, and Moore was mostly pass rush. Youngish, with talent, but our needs are elsewhere.

Not saying you're wrong, and after careful analysism that could prove to be the appropriate respons, but first i would ask the question why he was let go. Knowing Lovie Smith was let go, is Chicago going through a defensive system change? Buffalo did a year ago, and maybe that's why Marrone/Pettine let him go then. Now Buffalo is changing systems again, and Moore, who didn't do a bad job for the Bills, might be a good fit for what Buffalo wants to do. None of this is definite, but this is the kind of analysis that needs to take place.
