All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

According to NFL Network, EJ returned to practice today. Unless he has some kind of significant setback, I think it's pretty much lock at this point that he's going to be the starter against NE week 1.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
Good sign, however (and I know this will be very unpopular), we need to let the best man win the starting job. If Tuel has the better practices start him. If its EJ start him. Both are -- in NFL terms -- mostly unkown factors and I think that I could be comfortable with either one. That being said, I hope EJ gets the nod.
this has a feel of the tim connolly injury in the ottawa series. "i heard he's walking!" and frankly that timmy probably owuld have been a difference maker. however, can you imagine if EJ comes back and has a real leinart type effort? that would blow.
he's our savior and answer today.
if he flames out on the 8th, the tuel calls will grow louder and we'll really be mired in yet another qb controversy.
