Rodgers worked out for Miami so maybe might sign there?

He definitely has a better chance at playing there.

It is not like the Bills have a great crew of WRs

What's that say about Miami's?

What's that say about Miami's?

It says they have three wideouts and a tight end on injured reserve and they need bodies.

My question was rhetorical.

My question was rhetorical.

I agree it says they are desperate for wideouts. But it's because they've had a run of injuries.

Anyone else like the irony that the only QB we have with NFL experience is on our practice squad?

Burton's got that dreaded P word assigned to him, potential. Personally I'd rather have a guy with experience but who knows we still have two more roster spots to fill.

So what. I would rather have an unproven Rookie than a Vet that has proven to be mediocre.

Unless that vet's name is Tebow, right?

There was no way that Buffalo was going with just 2 QBs between the 53 man roster and the PS. The only question was whether they tried to find a serviceable veteran, who would have to be on the active squad or the youngster Lewis, who retained his PS eligibility, and did a pretty good job in the last preseason game. For my money, they made the right choice. Really, what does Brady Quinn give you than makes him worth using a spot on the 53 man roster? I saw him just a bit in this preseason, and he wasn't terrible, but Lewis is smart, mobile and has a decent arm. He fits what the Bills are going to do with Manuel a lot better than Quinn would. In fact, I don't think the offense has to change much at all no matter which one of the 3 Bills QBs is running it.

I was just going to post the same. He can make plays and has good size.
